Closed Periods

- You can close periods to prevent users from adding, editing, or deleting records.
- Employees cannot submit new requests for records in closed periods, and managers cannot approve pending requests in closed periods.
- As an exception, the owner can force approve a pending request in closed periods.
💡 Note
- Only the owner can enable this feature in company settings.
- Users with owner and manager access can manage closed periods.

Set Closed Periods
To use closed periods feature, go to Company Settings - Closing. Check the option and click save button.
STEP 1 ) You can find Closed Periods from the menu. Select an employee to set closed periods.
STEP 2 ) Enter the information below, then click Save button. You can add multiple closed periods.
After saving the changes, employees cannot send any request to closed periods.
You can also apply closed periods to multiple employees at once.
Click on the check box, then click Edit Closed Periods button.

When sending creating/editing/deleting requests, employees' requests are blocked with the following message.
② Manager Approval Page
If a request is still pending after its period is closed, the following message appears when a manager tries to approve it. In this case, only ‘reject’ is available.
As an exception, the owner can force approve a pending request in closed periods.
To force approve a request, go to the requests page and select ‘force approve/reject by owner’ under ‘additional options’.
💡 Note
- Please note that requests cannot be submitted for records in closed periods.
- If you need to update a record, please contact your administrator. The administrator can review the record and make the necessary changes.
