Company Settings - Security

Only Owner can manage company settings.
  • You can make additional settings to enhance the security of using Shiftee.
  • Some features are exclusive to the Enterprise plan.


Web

You can configure secrutiy settings in Company Settings - Security menu. web_company-settings-security-1

• Login Security Enhancement Feature

When logging out on the web, you will be logged out of all currently logged-in web sessions. And when logging out on the mobile app, you will be logged out of all currently logged-in mobile devices.


• IP Whitelisting Feature

You can set Shiftee to be accessible only from specific IP addresses assigned to employees.

  Note

This feature is available in Enterprise Plan.


STEP 1 ) Go to Manage > Employees menu and select an employee from the list. You can set ‘Whitelisted Ip Addresses’ at the bottom of the employee profile.
Click ‘Add’ button.



STEP 2 ) You can register allowed IP addresses (multiple entries are allowed).

  Note

Shiftee provides the following IP address access control features:

Specific IP Address Fixed : Access is only allowed from a specific IP address
CIDR Notation : Access is allowed within a specified CIDR range
CIDR is written as 10.0.0.1/8, for example. If you don't know the CIDR value, use a CIDR calculator to convert an IP address range.



STEP 3 ) Access to Shiftee is restricted to registered IP addresses. An error message will appear if an unregistered IP address attempt to access Shiftee.




• Automatic Logout Feature in Web App

To enhance security, Shiftee will automatically log you out after a period of inactivity. This period is determined by the ‘Inactive Threshold Time (in minutes)’ setting.




• Company Audit Log Feature

You can view the log history of data creation/modification/deletion by the manager and supervisor.
STEP 1 ) Once you have acitvated the feature with the issued token, you can select the log item you want to view from the drop-down menu.

  Note

This feature is available for Enterprise Plan users.



STEP 2 ) ‘Audit Log’ menu will be added to the left menu, and you can check the log history within the selected period (up to 7 days) as follows.
